Hey folks, Trav and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the newest call in the WRO lineup, and the inaugural reed in our Championship Signature line, The Black Widow. This call is very dear to both Travis and I, as it was our first collaboration. The idea for the Black Widow was born quite some time ago, and the first prototype of the reed made its debut at the finals of the 2014 Canadian Elk Calling Championship, ultimately helping to lead WRO to that title.
Although the call was undeniably good, it still wasn?t quite where we needed or wanted it, so we have spent the past several months fine tuning the stretch and materials until we just couldn?t possibly get any more from it. While this is certainly a bold statement, we both feel that this reed will be one that sets the bench mark for what a cow call can do, whether in regards to volume, pitch, or versatility of sounds. This call is going to be one of the flagship calls for WRO going forward, and I hope all of you will consider giving is a try during the upcoming season ? I promise you won?t be disappointed.
