Any of you northern Colorado boys know anything about St Vrain park? My 4 year old daughter wants to go fishing so bad and I live 20 minutes away. I heard it can be productive. Just looking for a place where she can keep entertained and hopefully catch something. If you have any words of wisdom it would be appreciated. Feel free to shoot me a PM.

THANK YOU!

Headed out there today with my little one. Had a great time. If anybody wants some suggestions based on what I learned today I\'d be happy to share. It\'s a perfect setup for little ones.

My 4 year old caught her first unassisted fish...besides me casting it out for her. Ended up with 8 planter trout. Lots of pictures but I don\'t know how to post off my iPhone...says the file is too big. It\'s a great deal for kids...not something I would be interested in doing by myself but watching a 4 year old enamored by a plastic bobber was fantastic.

Sounds like a fun day with the young one. I always like how excited they get. Fun stuff. :upthumb:

I have a Droid phone and had to go into the camera settings and resize the pics to get them to post. I think you can do the same with a iPhone.

From the :D on her face you can tell she is having fun.... :upthumb: :upthumb:

Good for you for taking her fishing and glad you now can post pictures....

To answer your question, I think fish are fish, waterfowl is waterfowl and wild game is left for the mammal type critters.... But if waterfowl if in \"other game\" I figure fish do too....
