Is your wife an angel?

Does you wife sometimes put her foot down when you want to go hunting?

Be careful and remember that all women are angels. Just don\'t try to clip their wings too short. They can fly around just as well on a broom stick! :haha:

My wife used to. Now she understands its easier to deal with a happy me than an ornery me. So she started hunting with me instead

My wife misses me and doesn\'t like when I am gone for 2 or 3 weeks but she doesn\'t try to stop me. She knows there is no stopping me from hunting  She says every year she is a bowhunters widow for 3 months. I try to keep her happy the other 9.

Haven\'t seen that old broomstick for a long time. My wife is great about my need to occasionally \"get away\", hunting, scouting, hiking. Sometimes she even comes along. She\'ll help me get camp set up, and help me tear it down. She\'ll help process the meat.

Best to take care of our spouses ... makes life so much better.

Sounds just like my wife Terry. My wife does not hunt or fish but understands I need some time by myself. She likes it allot better then when I spent allot of time in the bars in the old days.

I sure have nothing to complain about. Willie (my wife) lets me hunt as much as I like and is happy for me. Sometimes she will come to camp if I am alone for days. She has no interest in hunting.

my wife and i miss each other..

probably keeps me from doing more trips. (Besides the money). you know what? i am okay with that..i dread the day when my wife and i quit missing each other. hope and pray it NEVER happens.

first person i called when i hit a buck was my wife..and she almost squealed in joy..i felt the high five over the phone.

i can get annoying when i want to buy things..but i get it. she is saving for our future, and when i am hunting after i retire and can still afford awesome hunts..i will have her to thank for it.

angel. big time.

Scott, you crack me up. Just like most of you, my wife gives me grief for hunting, but she gets it. I need this trip for my sanity each year and I come back a better person for it. Last year, her mom came over one day to help with the kids while I was packing up for elk camp and her mom told her I looked like a kid the day before Christmas! Hahaha, some things never change I guess :)

My wife of 49 years (Linda) is like Willie... Looks like Swede and I married well...

mine certainly is.

she\'s not a huge fan of hunting, but she deals with it fine.

most men marry up. I married WAY up.

I have the best wife she went up with me for opening weekend baked all kinds of good stuff to eat. She supports me and what I do and knows when September comes around I only have one thing on my mind, ok maybe two. :D
