my new .22.  needed to fit me better.  sadly, in order to do so..it got heavier.  there is a shocking 1.25lb difference between the OEM stock and the new one.  BUMMER!

on the bright-side.  putting a few bunnies into a game bag is not the same as an elk quarter.  humping this rifle up and around in Alaska is gonna be less than ideal.  hehe.

it looks great, and most importantly..it fits great.  i can shoulder the gun and my scope picture is perfect.  before i had to move my head back and forth to get the sight picture right.  i will not be buying a bipod for this.  enough weight!

Good looking stock Cliff! What stock is that? And what's the total weight now?

It's the Boyds Varmint Hunter Pro.  it used to be called the Boyds Tacticool.  really inexpensive!!  all in, i paid $185 for stock and necessary hardware from D.I.P.

i did not weigh it in it's entirety.  just old stock versus new stock.  i should put it on a scale tonight.  yesterday, i didnt want to know. :)
it isnt heavier than my biggame guns..(i hope)  fingers crossed.
