We scoured google earth and other maps to find an area we liked. We took four days in late June to go visit the spot and check out the glassing points we thought we had identified. 4.5 miles from the trail head and 2,000 ft/gain later, we set camp with enough time to hit our first glass point. We ended up getting eyes on upwards of 200 elk and a couple nice bachelor groups.
