I bought my truck in August of 2012 with 65xxx miles.

Fast toward almost 4 years and this girl has been through a lot. I hope I can hit 500k-1 million miles.

You and my wife can have a contest to see who gets more miles on before their rig dies.

My wife\'s Impala has a 191,000 miles on it.

I sold my \'97 Silverado last year with 235k miles and still going strong.

Key = Change the oil every 4k

182000 is low for a Duramax.... Take care of her and she will easily hit 500k. CHEVY POWER!!! :train: :p

my brothers\' duramax has the same 180ish miles.

he is plagued with the usual problems. dash board related. jumpy gauges and things. he said he is just starting to see more smoke in the exhaust which according to his mechanic is the beginning of wear..should be good for a long time.

doing oil changes for a diesel at 4k miles isnt cheap.

wow, i thought the 152000 on my trailblazer was a bunch. guess i was wrong. im just hopin to get 200-225 out of mine.

330k on my 97 cummins a lot of those miles have been rough dirt roads or on the ranch the body will probably disinigrate before the engine has trouble doesn\'t burn oil at all

I may catch the Impala! 187K on my 2004 F150 gas. Got 288K or so from my previous truck - 1997 F150 gas.

Frequent oil changes plus having a hunting buddy who\'s a mechanic is helpful!! :)

i have high hopes for my tacoma. i\'m at a paltry 110k miles now. no real issues. and it is a 2006.

i do the oil changes at 5k, mostly because that light comes on at that interval. i find synthetic oil on sale and stay with that. usually mobil 1 from costco.

i think that\'s fine and good, but it isnt the magic bullet. the cleanest oil in the world wont save you a broken head stud, blown transmission, etc. it\'s just part of a tiny puzzle.
