TIP

If you plan to use lighted nocks and dont want to use them for practice, use a regular nock, drop a couple BBs down in the nock throat and glue them in.

I have been thinking about getting some but have been hesitant because of the weight difference.

I don\'t have a scale to weigh them to compare them. Are you using a couple of bb gun bb\'s?

Francis
I\'ll weigh a BB and then weigh a standard .246 nock and compare it to the weight of a Luminock

Also, www.firenock.com sells weighted practice nocks for most all arrow sizes. They come with a pack of firenocks or can be purchased separately.

I dabbled in lighted nocks at one time but was concerned about durability. I never had issues with the lighted nock but the practice nock version broke on me numerous times. I gave up and went back to GT nocks.

Thanks Brad. Looks like 2 and 3 bb\'s would be pretty close for your Gold Tips.

I\'m shooting Easton Axis so I\'ll try and get a nock weight. I think the lighted nocks are probably lighter also.
Good to know that a person can use regular nocks instead of the practice nocks the way it sounds.
