Little Belts

Does anybody hunt the Little Belts in MT? I am heading there Sept 9th for a week. Was there last fall in later Sept. I will be hunting alone.

I see there is a fire not to far away. Wonder how bad the smoke is?

I will be there at same time. My outfitter told me yesterday that there are no fires in the Little Belts but there it is a bit smokey from other areas West.


Two years ago, it was the same but by the time we arrived, the smoke was blown out. I hope for the same.

Ditch Creek Fire is in the NW part of the Little Belts. There will be smoke in the air with the right wind and no rain to knock the fires down. Most of the mountains are hard to see in the distance, depending on the wind direction, and can clear depending on the day. Good luck out there. Where are you teaching in ND?
