Looking for thoughts from Idaho hunters:
Post 1st rifle CO (meat hunt) this year; my brother and I are headed to Idaho for 7-10 OTC Bull hunt. We currently have tags for the middle fork and are kicking around the idea of flying in and hitting the mnts on foot ( OR ) possibly renting llamas and walking in to 27 or [other OTC unit - understand we will have to swap tags. ]
From a financial perspective, its about the same cost. We have never hunted Idaho, but have experience in WY and CO with pack animals, and CO wilderness bivy hunts on foot and with llamas.
Thoughts?
