Howdy Tony - Welcome!
How did you find this particular area?
Have you hunted near Yampa before?

Havent been in that spot, but I know some resources that may be helpful

Give us some more info!

I\'ve hunted the south side of the Bear River. I\'ve hiked a bit east of the Mandall lakes, but never in that specific area. That general area has some thick pine trees and usually a considerable amount of blowdown to navigate. Can be very difficult to hunt, with that blow down - perhaps you already know this, but wanted to give you a heads up in case you haven\'t been to this area before. I don\'t know about the grazing, hopefully someone else can help you with that question.

hunted in the Yampa area a few years ago south of bear river and a little north of moore park.
was looking at the mandall area on the map but never made in in there.thought it might be worth a look if we go back to Yampa this fall.
hope to see a moose if we get in there.thanks for the help.
