Just got back from another scouting trip and I am absolutely PUMPED.
In the last 12 days, my big bull has hit my waterhole 8 times.... in shooting hours...

We have had this bull on our cameras every time we go out and I have really cracked down on him.

So let me introduce you to \"corvette\"
You are probably wondering why I called him Corvette.

Anyone familiar with the Corvette 327 motor?

Well, I am guessing this bull is around 327\" :D

So......

Lets take you through this.

He first showed up back in early June.

We obviously knew he was a good bull, but had no idea what he was up to. So we started branching out and catching him all over.

more coming...

and our pics continue.

As you can see we started getting a lot of night pics, so I needed to find him where he was during shooting hours.

Now here comes the new pics...

Shooting hours have been until 9 every night.

Some of these look like night pictures, but it\'s really twilight. My camera just takes them as if they are night.

Going into my second year, I have tons of great cows and bulls to choose from and I WILL be very happy shooting any of them, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I am going to chase this guy.

I like your name.... but you may want to rename him \'Small Block Chevy 305\' :)
You sure are getting some nice pics!

Brad,

I was super pumped that I caught him bugling! I think that was so cool.

I am horrible at scoring and I know he has weak 5/6s.
I just need to kill him and we can figure out what engine he is. :upthumb:

So it\'s been brought to my attention by Ltsheets that we are looking at many different bulls....

By big boy has stronger 5/6s, but some of these guys have weaker ones.
Then we also have the big bellied bull and some skinnier ones.

Looks like we have a whole fleet of chevys here...

once again, getting depressed that I didn\'t draw new mexico! I am expecting some pretty good reports come sept 1st :D

Great pic there ICCY !! That is some fine looking bulls. Are you also getting cows in the same area or are they in a different area ? Keep in mind these bulls will be on the move to where the cows are hanging out so its important you find them as well.

By the way that is the best bugling elk trail camera photo ever !! Great job and thanks for sharing with us :)

That\'s a pretty impressive group of pictures. Sure fun to watch the development through the summer.

Thank you! As you can see, NM bulls are pretty nice!
I\'m very excited to hear more about your hunt.

Thanks, John. It definitely makes the experience a whole lot more fun.
If I am able to be successful this year, then it will be extra neat to have the pictures leading up to the harvest, plus the harvest pics. :upthumb:

Cows are hitting my waterhole too, so it\'s working out great.
I have a feeling that I will get at least a day or two of the bulls following this pattern, then they will start rushing the cows!
I was so pumped to catch him bugling because that just answers my question of if they are sounding off yet or not. :p

Great pics. Remember the 292 Mustangs? I\'m just not seeing 327. But I sure wouldn\'t pass him up. Hope you won\'t either! :dance2: Good luck!

haha I had a 302 mustang, that would work too.

Ltsheets pointed out they are not the same bull and that there are a few different ones.
I think my biggest one is the one on camera 6 August at 8ish pm.

I am hoping he can come in around 320\"

I am pleased with them all though, I would be a fool to pass any of them :upthumb:
