not sure if its because hes from mo, not a good hunter, or shoots a mathews but ive had bulls all over him an he cant seal the deal. guess im gonna have to get my bow out. 4 bulls in 2 hunts an no elk. hmmmmm, lol, its true but just kidding him.
lol, its been interesting. we have had 4 bulls within shooting distance an havnt flung an arrow yet, either came in behind us an didnt see them til it was to late. brush in the way an couldnt shoot, etc. heard some bugles the first couple days but none the last couple an no elk the last couple days. hunting pressure got pretty high during weekend, hopefully it calms down tomorrow. we came to town for a hot shower an meal an watch some fball as its suppose to rain today. heading back out tomorrow.
yea, there both seasoned hunters, just razzin em. we were in elk for the first couple days then it dried up an we havnt found them again. havnt seen an elk in several days. the grind of a long hunt is taking its toll
