Monsoon season?

I\'ve been monitoring the weather in the area where we plan on hunting, and 9 of the next 10 days all list showers and T-storms, with a flash flood warning. Typical for this time of year or something more ominous?

That\'s typical for July and August. Come September drier air is more prevalent.

That bad thing about those thunderstorms is they contain lightning.
And that means fires

I hope this year is the norm and the monsoons have passed by Sept. I could go for some cooler than norm temps. That might make the elk more antsy to fornicate which means they make mistakes.
