Quick question for the Montana hunters or anyone familiar with this question. My buddy drew a Montana General Elk/Deer combo and he was wondering if he can hunt archery in September. If he doesn't get anything in the archery season can he come back in, lets say November, and hunt rifle? I have never hunted Montana so I don't have any idea. I know that there are general units that he is constricted to, but I think his main question is if he can hunt both seasons if need be.
