More BTO?

Let\'s hear from you. What additions or idea\'s do you have to help make BTO better?

Here\'s a few that have been brought up.

1) Forum just for youtube video\'s, separated out by elk, deer, other?
2) Virtual Seminars(seminars given over the net). What topics would you like to see?
3) More BTO Challenges?
4) BTO Live debates?

We want to hear from our BTO family! Don\'t be shy....tell us how to make your forum better!
 
I would not call it a debate particularly, but I would like the discussion forum to come back for a limited number of pre-scheduled topics. I think these discussion could go on for as long in an evening as there was material to cover, but should be planed for an hour. I know I would like to engage in a discussion about where to locate tree stands and how to access them. JF unwittingly got me thinking about the topic, and I am positive there are others that have or should have some interest. A good discussion could keep hunters from making a lot of trial and error discoveries, AKA mistakes, like Swede has done.
 
How about more contests?


What do you as the user like for contests?


Simple \"in\" type stuff?
Or do you prefer to work for it?


I.E: Best photo contests, biggest elk contest, etc etc
 
Dan I like contests where everyone guesses and has a reasonable chance. I think they are more exciting and encouraging for all. It does not have to be \"in\".

I know some people will be having some racks that can be scored this year once they are back from the taxi.
We can do some contests to see who comes the closest at guessing what they scored.



If you or anyone else has any fun ideas, I am all ears!


I should have asked all of this before I started my new contest earlier :dk: :lol:

We had the hunter update thread this year, but are you leaning more towards the: \"I live in unit XX and they bulls are fired up!\" or \"I was hiking in unit XX and saw 15 elk.\"?

As others have said, can you expand on this a bit?
 
How about a couple BTO calendars? One with just scenic shots (more office appropriate) and one with kill shots of member\'s elk.
 
More than anything there needs to be more participation. I\'ve seen some pretty good threads fade away pretty quickly due to lack of responses.

Welcome to our elk camp Nascar. Pull up a chair or block of wood near the campfire and join right in. Keep your eye on Cnelk as he can be a prankster. He is harmless, but tricky.
 
Recent updates as to what units and level of activity that has been seen by other hunters to help those of us that live a distance away make good decisions on locations to hunt

I live in the bluegrass and will be hunting in Colorado this year so any help I can get helps with picking locations to hunt
