Branching off the other thread, what do you think its harder to do?

Killing a 180\" WT or a 330\" elk?

This is so tough to answer, but I am saying 180\" whitetail all day.

I could throw you in a Gila unit in NM and you could pass up 330s all day.
I could throw you in a whitetail paradise and you are maybe looking at passing up 140s and 150s all day.....

180s don\'t get passed up....

180\" whitetail. I think the biggest whitetail I have ever seen while hunting might have gone 130\".

I don\'t know if you let 150\" walk.
Me? No way......i don\'t let 125\" walk ;)
I\'d probably get myself checked out if I let a 150 walk.

Tim though, who lives in kansas and is watching 170s on his cameras, will be more apt to let the 140 and 150s walk.

You always hear it from those local Iowa and kansas boys.....
They think 140 and 150s are little :dk:

The farmer that rents our field in Buffalo Co has a son that shot a typical 12 with matching split G2\'s (14 pt) that grossed 194 and netted 187 a couple years ago with the ML. Farmer says \"I passed him up last year\" I said \"how big was he then?\" He goes \"Only\" about 150-160! \"But he was a young deer and he looked like he had a lot of potential\".

I did let a 130\" ten walk one time and a 130\" eight walk one time. Both times there was a 150-160 class buck that was either hanging out with him or literally with him. Early season.

IMO, Whitetail........

But this also could depend on Private, or Public land. If your hunting Public the whitetail is going to be very tough to come by
