Hey everyone,
First time posting on here, what a great forum!
So I'm going to be moving/going back to school in Butte MT this fall and am looking to hit the learning curve on archery elk. I've bow hunted white tail and turkeys in MN for a few years now and also have attended many 3d shoots and the total archery challenge a few times so i am confident in my shooting as a preface.
On onyx maps and searching through the web it looks like unit 341 or 319 SW of butte would be a good place to go check out being it's close proximity. I will only have weekends to do so, that said i have backpacked quite a few time and am not afraid of overnights on the mountain.
Just wondering if any of you guys have had any experience in the unit and are willing to give some advice! Not looking for you to give away your spots or anything like that, just some pointers.
Thanks!
