Shot these 2 this past Saturday while muzzleloader hunting for whitetail. My youngest son and dad were setup about 500 yards away predator calling and these 2 came sneaking past me coming from the calling setup. They evidently had slipped in on my son and dad and didn\'t like something about the setup and were trying to sneak away.

That\'s impressive to shoot 2 coyotes with a ML in one sit!
Your reloading time must be quick!

It was great to be in the middle of. Shot the lead coyote at about 100 yards - the female. The male who was behind her had no idea what happened. He just continued through the CRP for about 50 yards and into the cedars. About 5 minutes later my dad and son started another calling sequence and he came trotting back through heading their way. I let him pass through thinking my son would shoot him within minutes. About 15 minutes later here he came back by me again on the same trail he was on the first time when I shot the female. That was his last mistake.

It does make me wonder what they both did not like about the calling sequence/setup though. They came partially in to the call but didn\'t commit and then snuck out. My dad and son never saw either one of them, so they never entered the cut hay field. Makes me wonder how many times I\'ve coyote called and didn\'t see any, if they came in but hung up somewhere before committing. Also has me reconsidering multiple shooter setups for calling - obviously taking the wind direction in account.
