my second bull

Caught this 5x6 coming into water one evening. He caught me drawing back on him and then he bolted. I layed some heavy mews which got him to eventually come back in. It turned out to be a high lung shot and I think I caught some liver too. He ran about 150 yards and fell back and landed on his horns. It was a great time for me and my dad. He is 67 years old with parkinsons and he had elk shoulders strapped to his back at 1am. Good times.

THAT, sir, is fantastic. Attaboy to you and your dad.

when I\'m 67, I\'d love to help my son with a pack-out. :)

good on both of you.

Nice job sucking him back in, Aaron! :dance2:

Congrats on elk #2...now it\'s on to #3 !

Kudos to your Dad :angle:

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! It was a really cool hunt. Only 11 more months to next elk season. :D
