Great video.  Thanks for sharing with all of us.  Also, thanks for showing how devastating the frontal shot can be.  I hate it when people call it unethical.  Any shot is unethical if you take it even though you are not 100% comfortable and confident you can make it.  Releasing an arrow "hoping" you make a good shot is a recipe for disaster.


I also liked that you showed Dirk missing.  Not that he missed but that you show real hunting.  Theree years ago I missed the biggest bull I have ever had a shot at.  It really sucks but it's part of hunting.

Great video, now just need the wife to get out of the house so I can watch it with the volume cranked like it was meant to be.
I wish someone had told me how deadly that frontal shot was 20 years ago, I think I would have taken lots more elk.

Thanks for allowing me to relive a miss on my biggest bull to date.  I am so impressed with the skills others have!  I think you said it best at the end when you get to relive it for the next 11 months.  There is truly something magic about chasing elk in September!
Now if I can just get through the next 7 hrs here at work....:-(
Will you be at the Western Hunt Expo?  If so, I will be helping the boys at Camofire, hopefully your dad and Lance will be there once again....
