Old elk hunter new to forum.
I recognize a few names from when I was active in other forums but took a leave of absence .
Leaving for my annual elk hunt in Colorado in 2 weeks. I will be there for the entire season.
I only hunt elk with archery equipment, and have been for over 35 years, so I am not much help with late season hunting.
Looking forward to meeting new friends , helping when I Can and might even learn a few more tricks along the way.
I am a Far West Mossy Oak Big Game Pro Staff and honored to be on there team.

35 years of experience with a bow, I bet you have some great stuff to pass on to us new guys.

Bill, It is good to see you here. I remember you from a different forum. I always appreciated your input and look forward to seeing more of you here. As a history buff, I really enjoyed your old avatar, showing one of your ancestors.
 
Thanks, it is easy to see elk hunting is in your blood line. It goes back a few years.

Hi all, I\'m also new to the forum. Was recommended to come here and also to visit StartMyHunt by a friend of Cnelk. I have ordered maps already from SMH because thanks to the draw changes we are going OTC this year. Oh, I left another forum because there was more trash than beneficial information.....I think you all know where.
I love bowhunting and I and 3 friends drive to CO every year. It\'s what I work all year for and I have already committed that I will go every year until I die....

I have shot some Mathews now again, and I like them too.
I just cant afford those wood handles they put on them!
