My name is John Jr and JF is my dad. Last year my dad called in 2 big Bulls but I coudnt close the deal. Hope to shoot one this year. I will be reading everyone\'s tips.

Welcome to the campfire Junior. Trust us, you can tell all the stories you want to, about dad\'s hunting experiences, on this forum. Pay no attentions to his gasps and grimaces. That is just his way of showing how much he is enjoying it.

I\'m 13 and last year was my first year bow hunting. Dad bought me a diamond infinite edge. Dad called in a big bull but I couldnt draw because he was looking at me. I got to call in a small bull but couldn\'t shoot him because my bow was on the ground. Dad said last year was a learning year. I\'m excited about bivy hunting this year.

That\'s very cool that you are excited about getting out again. And you Dad is right...except EVERY year is a learning year! Even for us \"old timers\"...a killing year is even a learning year.

I\'ll be anxious to hear about your adventures this Season, John Jr. :upthumb:

Thanks guys for supporting my son. He\'s really excited and is driving me every night to push my workouts just a little harder. (\"Just 10 more burpies dad!\")

Just so you know, Jr did call in a small bull on his own. He wanted the opportunity to try so I let him. Next time, at least one of us will be holding our bows in the ready position. Lol!

Keep practicing with that Diamond bow and keep calling with your dad.
One day a memory will be made like my son had with his Diamond Core
