No Elk but......

Did not see any ELK this past weekend but walked with in 25 yards of this big guy, spent 20 min. taking pics & video then changed my shorts since I walked through a tree and was face to face with him, good times withfamily get one more weekend to try to find some elk. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE heading back out.

First year I went deer hunting I saw the tips of a huge rack just cresting a rise.  When I worked around the other side I found my self face to face with a moose.  Gorgeous and very large critters.

Well no elk for archery this year, didn't even see an elk for the last weekend but did learn A LOT for my first year of archery first off..... DO NOT HUNT CLOSE TO TOWN cause every one else has the same idea... LOL good times. Thankfully I am lucky to live in a AWESOME state that has TONS of elk and lots of Tags, so 3rd Rifle with the Family will be our last chance to fill the freezer, with all the snow should be a good year I will let you all know. I did get a couple of pics I thought I would share with ya'll if you have any awesome pics please share. Also check the meat pole for an awesome pic of an AZ bull a friend sent me.
