Nock Pinch! How long is you d-loop?

Wow. Today I noted my arrow lifting the tiniest bit coming to draw. It was a chatter mostly. I also noted my d-loop was nicked. So despite my hunt coming up, I fixed everything. Working on a bow so close to a hunt is scary:)

I elected to try a tied nick set with a new d-loop. With the nock set, my loops looks huge. Funny looking. BUT!!!! The bow is super forgiving. My broadhead groups are tight. And with my field tips exactly. I am tempted to shortened up my loop, but it feels really familiar w respect to DL.

Wisdom? How long is your loop?

When I tie my D loops in, I put a nock on the string and then my release jaws so it all fits.
Yours dont look all that bad, put a nock on the string and check the loop size with your release

I do what Brad does, but my loops are purposely short. I like them to be as short as possible without any pinch. My draw length is short, so I tend to try and make up for it as much as possible.

It may look just a tad long but I\'ve seen longer. But sounds like your groups are excellent. So with you hunt coming up real soon, I\'d have to say,(If it ain\'t broke, don\'t fix it )

i\'m gonna fight the urge and LEAVE IT ALONE. :)

i didnt mention it, but i measured the length of the one i cut off and it is the same length. the odd part, is that i used tied nock sets this time and that really spaces the knots apart making it look visually gargantuan. :)

it feels right with respect to anchor point and stuff. i scooted it back a bit manually and i think it will jack with my peep sight positioning and size.

LEAVE IT..(trying to convince myself - dont they make a pill for OCD?)
