My grandfather started our \"Camp\" 35 years ago WAY up in the North Maine woods.
I wasn\'t even a year old and made it up there for my first camping trip. (Some say I was made out in the North Maine woods  )
I also started hunting up there at the age of 6 and have truly experienced some of the greatest times of my life up there.

We certainly do not mess around when it comes to camping up there. I will put some pics out for you guys to see.

(I hope I post these pictures right)

everyone helps set up

I guess I should post stuff about the picks and why it\'s so great.

We harvest our own wood (dead cedar)

this is me letting my 13 year old cousin my duramax.

now starts the splitting and cutting

WOW!!! And I thought we had a nice camp... How long are you guys up there for? That is a heck of a lot of work! I think I would fit in well though...15 two, 15 four, 15 six...

hahah anyone who plays cribbage is always welcome at out camp. We are usually up there for a 12 day trip. We will leave on a Wednesday and return the following Saturday or Sunday.

It\'s always a great time!

Dan, how is the homemade bread made? Can I assume a generator is involved? I keep salivating just looking at that!

Derek,

Before we leave my grampa will make the dough \"his secret recipe\", cut and wrap them, then he will freeze it. Every morning he would put two loafs next to the wood stove, they would rise, then he would cook then for dinner!!!!

We have no electricity up there at all!

yum yum yum!!!

Thanks Bnsafe

You are correct!!!!

If you look at the picture of the hash brown and sausage being cooked, right behind that is our propane stove. :upthumb:
