Northern Utah the Bulls are talking!

Hello to all. I am new here just registered but been reading the forum for a while. I have been checking the site every chance I get to see if anyone is hearing bulls in Utah yet. Well since no one has posted anything at least not that I have seen I decided to. I have been in the backcountry at least 4 days a week for the last 3 weeks and have got bulls to answer a locating bugle. But on Sep 4th they started up on there own in the morning without my help. As well all the good bulls we have glassed are mudded up.  And the rag horns are all over the cows. I have not seen any big bulls chasing cows yet but my guess is by this weekend they will be all over them.

Nice good to hear! Heading out for a long weekend here in CO.  Heard a couple bugles a week and a half ago but nothing in my last trip out.

How high are you hearing the bugles? I've been out the last 2 weekends in CO and haven't heard any bugles yet. I'm hunting between 9500-10500'.

I was hunting right in that range as well, it was opening morning that i heard them, then saw the actual animal.
