Was going through my phone and found a picture from last year. Not a lot of waterfowl guys on here, but figured you might like this one. I really enjoy elk hunting but cupped mallards really are hard to beat!!! Maybe the only thing that beats them is a flock of specks hovering over the blind at 15 yards looking for a place to set down.

Let\'s make this fun...

Everyone who posts name one of the birds in the pile. It\'s pretty easy but maybe for some of the non-waterfowl guys it might not be so easy!

Not a waterfowl guy but I know a Mallard. Nice bunch of ducks. :upthumb:

The 2 easier ones off the board. Might get a little tougher. This is from the pacific flyway if that helps.

It\'s actually pretty surprising because we pounded the pintail, but none in that pile! Were you looking at the hen on the far left? I figured she would throw a few people!

I looked at the pile and saw mallards both drake and hen, gadwall or gray ducks as my southern friends from LA call them, wigeon, specks and what looks like a hen teal on top... I may have missed one...

Nice bunch... If I\'m right in the Pacific Flyway ya\'ll get a bit more liberal limit than we do...

Here\'s a few pictures of some early season teal and flooded timer hunts... Our daily limit here is 3 mallards when we hunt the flooded timber...

Blue wing teal from last years early teal season...

Same day... Three generations... My oldest son, his oldest son and me at the spot we hunt early teal...

2014 next to last day with ALL our friends.. 3 from SC the rest are regulars we hunt with... The grand sons didn\'t make that hunt due to bad grades in school... They have since kept their grades up...

This is one of my all time favorites since 2 of my gransons were with us...

I have a bunch more but don\'t want to bore ya\'ll with them... :D :D

That\'s what dreams are made of right there!!!! You missed one. Bottom left. King of ducks!!!

I\'ll see if I can dig up a few more pictures. Yeah, CA has great waterfowl season. Starts first week of October and runs through end of January! 7 ducks and they just raised geese. I believe it\'s 25 now!!!

Yep the one on the bottom left is something I\'ve never seen before... Some kind of sea duck?? I aways thought the \"King of Ducks\" was the greenhead since you can find them most anywhere... :upthumb: :upthumb:

This is my avatar....

King of ducks = canvasback. Best darn eating duck I\'ve ever eaten...and a blast to shoot. They are big and fly like a real!
