OMG!! shot the HOYT defiant 34!!

what a bow!!!

it is light. almost whimsical feeling. but it is very stiff..the riser is stiff. bow had nothing on it, and it balanced very nice. neutral. the bow was a 60lb bow, and like any bowshop, they still turned the limbs down..making it feel GREAT. he wouldnt crank it down tight for me.whatever.

it still flung those tiny light arrows fast and deep into the target. it was beautiful.

boy that thing fit me perfect. string just kissed my nose and grazed my face. it wasnt buried hard into my face at all. peep was a nice distance from my eye.

i want it!!

i picked up the Mathews Halon 6 and it felt like a anvil. it shot great, but i was so top heavy. even the cams are gigantic. super nice shooter tho..very quiet. not the bow for me. kinda weird looking.

Cliff, have ya shot the Nitrum 34? I shot the Defiant and didn\'t really see much noticeable difference in the two in terms of overall performance/feel. Definitely shoot the Nitrum before you buy the Defiant. You just may be able to save a couple hundred bucks. Both are sweet!

Will and I have talked about this before but the Nitrum 34 is the best shooting bow I have owned. I know we hear that crap all the time but I just shoot this bow better. I shoot this bow better than my Carbon Matrix RKT. I haven\'t shot the Defiant 34 and I am sure it is sweet but do yourself a favor and give the Nitrum a shot before you drop the extra coin.

i probably shouldnt buy a new bow.

why? last night, got home too late to run. so i grabbed my bow. grabbed a single arrow, and shot 5 for 5 into the bulls at 20 yards. five cold shots.
this bow fits me well.

i need to shoot more at the long ranges before my upcoming hunt. i dont want to miss any opportunity.
