One of those Days

Went to my nephews birthday party friday night. Had a good time, got home late. Had to do some work in the archery shop saturday morning, and as I was talking to the customer I look out and there is a DENT in the right quarter panel of my truck!! After consultation with my wife and a little investigation, we fire off a text to my niece politely asking if she thinks she might have bumped it backing out. She says \"yeah, a little, did it leave a mark? :shock: :crazy: :evil:

Estimate: $400

Money my niece has: $60

It would probably be cheaper for her to just pay for the damages. Her deductable is probably close to the damage cost and her rates will go up.

Good idea. Thats what I would have done.....

I would set it up for her to work off the debt.
$10/hr x 40 hrs
That way the payment is made with her sweat equity and has time to think about it
Im sure you have some things for her to do...

She\'s 22 and lives a half hour away. She quit college and is working part time. Talking with her parents we are definitely coming up with a teaching moment.
