I\'m taking my son to his Hunters Safety Field Day tomorrow. Once he completes it, he\'ll be one step closer to elk hunting this year. Oh, BTW he wants me to help him create an account on the forum. For some reason he thinks Swede and Brad are really cool. :roll:

Congratulations to you and your son. I still have my hunter safety card. It is framed and under glass. I had hunted big game 5 years when Oregon required the safety card for hunters under 18. I have never regretted having to go to the training even though it was not convenient at the time. Make sure your son understands we are just dummies trying to help each other out here. With a 92% test score, I might feel a little intimidated corresponding with him.
