I\'ll be ordering a new bugle tube in the next few weeks. Not sure which one yet, Paul\'s? Trav\'s? Bully Bull? Trying to step it up to the big leagues! I still have the first tube (corrugated tube) I got from Brad a few years ago...I\'m guessing the bat tubes will help make my bugling action sound a bit more realistic?

What do you have, what do you like?

I haven\'t tried Trav\'s yet but if it\'s anything like his new line of reeds, it will rock! So I\'d suggest the Bully Bull or waiting until Trav releases his.

With regards to which bugle works best for you, you\'ll need to consider intake/exit ports and tone dampeners. For me I like the smaller intake ports and an exit port that are designed for a little more BP(back pressure). Every tube style call(ie goose, duck, deer, elk) should have some level of BP. When you blow into a tube the BP fills your tube and your mouth thus creating pressure on the reed. So it\'s a balance between BP and sound amplification. To much BP and sound amplification is reduced. To little of BP and it\'s harder to break the reed over but you get great amplification.

My 2-cents and worth nothing more.
