I would suggest using Google Earth and get a topo of the area that way you can see how steep it is and then on Google earth you can see the vegetation and what it looks like.
Alot of "The Church" burnt this year but if i was suggesting anything it would be the southern part because i like big country and Have hunted this successfully. Best advice is to know you are in for a very demanding hunt and you cant be in to good of shape this is as tough as it gets. Good Luck
I know there are some great areas if you are packing in with Horses. If you are going in on foot the Dagger falls area can be good but it is big steep country but there are elk around there.
