Got a nice pack frame and day pack so I can\'t see shelling out $300+ for an all in one. Looking at adding a duffle or another kind of bag for spike camping. Any suggestions to make this as user friendly as possible? Archery hunting. How big a bag would I need, 5,000 cu in or so?

I just use a large compression sack for the sleeping bag, tent, and other stuff. Then dry bags for other accessories. They can all be lashed to the pack frame with the daypack (my daypack is around 2000 cubic inches).

It\'s amazing what you can stuff in a compression sack!

Last year we had some trash compactor bags that we used to cool quarters off in a stream.
They are pretty tuff. Im thinking about using one of them on my Kelty Cache Hauler.
Dual purpose!!!

thats what i was thinking. compression sacks are the way to go vs. just a bag?

Works for me, timberland!

Not much you can do about the amount of weight you have to pack in...I just like my load as compact as possible ;)

Great video Jeff! Anyone ever tell you that you look like Billy Crystal?

OMG that\'s too funny!

I\'ve been hearing that since I was 18 years old (for 35 years)!

When I grow the full beard, it\'s like once a week!

Look alike?
