packing in on horse

for those of you that pack into your area on horse how are you packing your bow, back pack, hard case on packing horse , other ideas or what kind of pack/case do you use?
 
its a personal preference you can get a soft scabbard really cheap and they are way more convenient. i saw a hard case one once but, its been a while just make sure you covet and protect your pins you'll be-fine with a soft scabbard

Keep the pins and string safe and the rest shouldn't be an issue.  I always lash mine to the top pack of my most experienced pack horse.  Limbs forward on the the backside of a top pack is a great, safe place for any length of pack if you don't want/have a scabbard or case to deal with.
