Painted the New Arrows

Gave my new arrows the "cnelk" special and painted a few of them up today. After seeing how much easier it is to find arrows with this paint, I won't hunt without them like this. There is a thread that will get transferred over from Back Trak Outdoors with a good how-to write up, but I'm happy to share ahead of time if anyone is interested. Just let me know!

Like I mentioned, credit goes to Brad (cnelk). This is his post, I just went ahead and copied it:

I like to paint my arrows so I can see them better in flight. This is how I do that:

I put a piece of tape just in front of the fletching and another down the shaft a bit

Then I slide them into a small box with the tape right on the edge

First layer is white - I can spin the arrows to get good coverage.
Then I use a bit of fluorescent orange at the top

Once dry to the touch, take them out let dry completely

Remove tape and DONE!

Nice! I forgot about this thread. I might have to paint up a quiver full of arrows for this years special hunt. ;D

How durable is this? How much weight do they add? How smooth is it? Would like to add some Flo orange to mine!

It has been very durable for me. Haven't had to re-do it at all on my last arrows. Weight is minimal, a couple grains. Very smooth, you won't even notice it.
