So beyond the obvious... jerky, cashews, almonds...what do folks out there who are paleo-oriented eat out on the trail? I've always been a big freeze dried guy but they don't really come in "paleo" form.
Also I'm thinking since I'm burning so many calories and consuming so few out on the trail... does it really matter what I eat when I'm in the field for this? Seems like the civil mindset of consume less exercise more almost gets flipped on it's head out there anyhow.
Any ideas and feedback would be appreciated.
