Something to have in the truck for those summer scouting trips too

While not a grill, we take this unit along for cooking on a lot of various trips.

That\'s a super cool idea :cool: Kenny had to run to the nearest Town last Year to get this grate. Fresh elk tenderloin...best meal I\'ve ever had on an elk hunt!
 
I was always warned that copper produces a poisonous gas when heated to extreme temperatures. I\'d caution away from copper pipe in that set up, galvanized too. I know we sweat in solder on copper fittings but that\'s a quick and temporary activity and we aren\'t eating anything coming off of it.

:shrug: Don\'t know if there\'s any factual data in that or not but just my words of caution.

super funny..my ..no my friends homemade bong was a cored out apple.
