I saw a add for these today and I personally don\'t like the concept. You already have a small sight picture with a normal peep. Now you are trying to add a post to a peep to make it seem more shooting open sights on a rifle. At least that is what I get out of it. I think I will just stick with my Fletcher Tru peep.

I don\'t think I would like them. A peep sight naturally is centered quite easily by the eye. All I see that doing is adding more clutter and robbing light at the most inconvenient time. I will stick to my 3/16 inch Meta Peep. I also have a 1 1/2 inch ring around my pins that fits perfectly inside the peep at full draw. My way of centering up.

My optical conclusion! The pin in your top picture is not centered in the peep. Might take some getting used to since the eye naturally centers the pin through a peep.

It would probably work well for some but it would screw me up as it would require you to line up the pin with that post in the peep vs centering the sight ring.

Well, I\'ve tried them ... and ... nah.

Although, it\'s true that I can\'t see much of anything, anyway! But the post doesn\'t help.

Don\'t think I would like it as I shoot a small peep. With a small peep I wouldn\'t like anything more blocking my vision.

If your eye is 5\" from the peep like the picture, the post will be clear. Under most situations, that post will be blurry as heck and all but useless.
