First, I shoot the Easton Axis arrows. I had five in my quiver last weekend when I took a fall. The outer coating on four arrows chipped on a rock. I did a flex test and had no problems but figured I\'d ask if I am in danger of seeing a bajillion shards of carbon fiber embedding into my hand>

Boy that\'s a tough one Lark. I shoot the same arrows and have a few more like scratches from other arrows hitting them. I do the flex test also and still shoot mine. Are they deep chips or just on surface ?

I would really hate to say they are OK and have one come apart on you.
