taking my son up to mt to custers last stand today, then coming home tomorrow. thats all the time we have but am looking forward to showing it to him. im a huge history buff so love this stuff an i teach him things that makes history interesting, not just facts. i havnt been in 35 years an its changed alot since then with new drives an indian memorials. looking forward to it even though its gonna be alot of driving.

that is great, I took my 2 boys there when they 9 and 12 they are 27 and 30 now and still talk about it.

We need to go back.

Have fun. I\'m a history nut as well. They will learn a lot more from a trip there than in a classroom. Native American history absolutely blows me away, one of my favorite things to do is to go pick up arrowheads in the afternoon after a morning of spring turkey hunting.

the site was awesome. better than i remember it from 35 years ago. they have changed alot. now we got a wild hair to drive the 3.5 hours to yellowstone so we are in billings right now, which would be great accept they are having some big sports thing an the hotels were all booked an the one we found raped us. but, having fun. loaded the moving truck yesterday, drove 9 hours today an walked around the battle site, driving to yellowstone an touring tom. long drive home sunday, work at 630 monday. im way to old for this

well we are back. first off im exhausted. but
if anybody is heading to yellowstone take the beartooth hwy. its a longer drive but gorgeous. yellowstone is alot bigger than i remember it. its gorgeous also though.
we had a blast. an i remember why i wanted to move out west. now i really dont wanna go back to mo, but find a small town in wy or mt an live there. i love the solitude of those places.
