Same as Bum here. Mine was a cheaper model than the one in the picture. On my old #2 backup bow, I still have an old Springy rest. Remember them?
Yep, I had one of those for 17 years before moving to CO from NJ. My old bow worked just fine for 10-20ft shots on whities but I had to get the right tool for the job when I moved out west.
never had one of those, but had a tm hunter for years. lookin back I should used a wb. yea ww I rember the old spring plungers. they made a rubber piece that taped to your bow that bent up an held the arrow down until you drew then it released. man that was a long time ago
I used a TM hunter and also a Savage that had teflon launchers.
Back in the day the TM style rest was a darn good one, that\'s when everyone started shooting cock feather down!
Pretty sure if I dig deep enough I could find a couple golden key prong rests in my tool box. In their day, they were a pretty hot item. Still would give adequate arrow flight in my opinion, but as we all know.... The latest is the greatest! :silent:
Use em all the time in the archery shop for setting up bows for customers to try out. Easy for a quick tune and sold quite a few because they were aalready on the bow. Good solid inexpensive rest
I had a TM hunter on an old PSE with an overdraw. You didn\'t want your arrow to fall off the rest, or you\'d have a broadhead resting on your forearm.
I shot a flipper with a burger button for years. I still have a two prong rest that does not have a name on it. It has a spring on the side with a set screw to adjust the tension.
