We try to include archery, ML and rifle hunters.
Some posts may be geared toward a specific weapon, but in general there is an over-lapping of infomation

I\'ve never hunted with a treestand, so it didn\'t factor into my top 5 - but it is a very effective way to hunt as we have seen from some of the members here - I just have a tough time staying in one sport for hours.

#1: Wind checker
#2: Rangefinder
#3: GPS
#4: 300fps bow/arrow set up
#5: External reed cow call

1. tree stand with good harness and safety line
2. knife
3. gps It used to be the compass and map, but I have started using them as a backup
4. rangefinder
5. wind checker

The other five items I don\'t have or don\'t use much

rangefinder
windchecker
knife..for cutting up the elk..and notching my tag!!

if i had to pick 2 more...

gps..

the rest..no. i suck with a bugle, and a reed. where\'s the hoochie mama?..ahhahahhahahhaa

Cow call and bugle ... GPS ...

I\'m one who has never weighed/calculated my arrow weight, or put an arrow through a chronograph, so not sure about those measures.

Only thing I absolutely need there is a knife.
