Bringing the meat home! While I wasn't fortunate enough to get a big bull this year, I'm happy to take a cow home. Spent 9 days out there with my brother. Day after day of awesome encounters with bugling bulls. Just couldn't quite pull it all together this time. I learned a ton through these encounters and am already looking forward to next year. We chased the biggest bull I've seen in person for 3 days and with his 21 cows in tow, in sage brush country, we couldn't get in closer than 80 yards. But man was it awesome!

Run several cameras all the time. It?s nice to get an idea of the timing that an animal is coming through, be it a whitetail or elk.
This time of year, I get an idea of of where deer are feeding for stand placement.
Started by using trail timers back in the late 80?s on bear baits. Told you when something came through on a trail, but not what.
