Do you remember when you were around 9 or 10 years old and the excitement and anticipation you felt for the Christmas season?  I was telling my wife last night - that is exactly how I feel about elk season! Can y'all relate to that??

The week before heading to elk camp is the longest week of the year. I nearly wear the zippers off my pack from opening and closing, packing and unpacking, followed by hours and hours google earthing spots that I've been hunting for years and already know, thankfully the fiance gets it, or at least pretends to, and humors my never ending elk talk and excitement
