Do you guys remove the batteries from your electronic devices?

I was reminded of this last night when my daughter asked me to change batteries in one of her toys that was a few years old and the batteries were leaking and corroding the innerds.

oops. I better check mine again. They usually wear out before they get old enough to leak.

most of my stuff uses rechargeable batteries. i just let them ride.

in addition, i think the new alkaline batteries are vastly improved in technology. i dont find them leaky anymore.

for my car flashlights, where they really suffer and sit for a looooonnnnnggg time, i only use lights that use the CR123 lithium batteries. they never leak and never trickle dead. more expensive.

i can barely remember all my passwords..remember batteries maint isnt gonna happen :)

I always remove the batteries from my GPS, headlights and electrical decoys at the end of duck season....
