Roosevelt Elk Hunters..

Just joined here and love this site. One thing i always see is the lack of roosevelt elk knowledge,hunters discussions and success. This is very overlooked and the behavior and tactics of our roosevelts differ a bit from the rockies. I would just love to hear from other hunters on this subject. I live and hunt southern oregon and love those rosies..

We have several guys on the Elk101.com Pro Staff who hunt roosies...you'll be seeing a lot more content in that direction in the coming months from guys like Kody Kellom, Ty Stubblefield, Jason Phelps, Jody Cyr, and more!

Glad to know this info will be surfacing. I am also focusing on Roosevelt's and have had trouble finding data on them.

Rayscudder, what state are you hunting in?

I used to hunt them a lot over in the Tioga unit in Oregon but I have since moved to Idaho and love hunting here.

So it's almost 2 years later and elk101 articles really has 1 article mentioning differences between our beloved Rosie's and Rocky's. I'm trying to soak up as much as I can about this subspecies but there isn't much here.
