Here\'s my safety kit for wilderness hunting. It\'s pretty much a first aid kit plus.

Epipen
White cloth wrap - great for tourniquet, compression, immobilization, or sling.
Tie straps.
Lighter plus pink fire jelly straws.
Lip gloss.
Baby Leatherman - addition of light to test pupil dilation .
2 plastic garbage bags - what can\'t you use these for. :)
Quick clean
Sterile eye patch
Surgipro - stitches if you know how to use them.
Chaffing powder in bottle
Duct tap - great for tourniquet, compression, immobilization, or sling.
Knuckle bandage
2 regular bandage
Burn cream
Hand sanitizer
Insect cream
Sudifed straw
Benadryl straw
Antiseptic straw
Advil straw
Tylenol straw
Aspirin straw

Not shown: quick clot

How about any additions that I\'m missing?

I\'ve packed a first-aid kid around for over 35 years. Never had to open it yet. But if you are looking for something that I didn\'t notice on your list, I\'d suggest Tums or Rolaids.

i carry mine for the first couple days, then it stays in the car or tent after. i was rethinking that when i cut myself to the knuckle bone a couple years ago and it was in the car.

I carry one in the truck with everything John Fitzgerald has and then some. I have the Rolaids, Antibiotics, Anti diarrhea meds, a needle and tweezers for those pesky thorns or splinters, and a few other things I can\'t think of right now. I have it all in a red first aid pouch. I only carry sinus and pain pills with me. If I get a cut I will improvise till I get back to camp.
