Me and my buddy have an Elk hunt coming up at the end of the year. We plan on back packing Northern AZ . Just wanna here what everyone takes scouting and have some dialog.
I to have a Elk tag in Az this year and have been scouting. I just bring my day pack, but when I scout for my back country spots I always bring extra water and drop it at or close to area's that I will be later. That way i don't have to worry about water when the hunt starts.
