You?re in a thicket and hear a bull racking ahead.  You move up and hear him starting to move your way.

You see one open window(lane) for a shot and he comes out at 25 yards presenting this shot.

Shooting or passing?

I agree with Big Show. With archery gear however, I don?t like the angle for a frontal or for trying to get vitals behind the shoulder. Hopefully in his next couple steps he presents a better angle.

With a gun or mz that would be a dead bull

Agree with both of you. My first thought when it comes to archery is let him take one more step and potentially try to stop him there. It looks to me like if he gets that front left foot forward, it could be a pretty decent angle.

Gun......Bang!!

Bow...... assuming I am at full draw... release when that right front leg goes back. Shoot just in front of the leg.  ;D

Rifle would be a dead bull.

Archery I?d have to pass. I?m not enough of arrow placement on a better than quartering shot.  Even if he was head on I don?t know, so that doubt tells me I shouldn?t. I would love to shoot this stud but IF I botch it, it?s just not fair to the animal.

First of all,  wow what a beautiful bull!
I only hunt with my bow and I can tell you at this point I am in a mode, my hat is turned backwards and this beautiful boy is in the red zone. With his head down like that I am about to get 3 more steps at the least and a 17 yard broadside. At that point, it's the koup do gracie!
Thanks for the great pic and a chance to dream a little in the off season!

"Maybe he will get wider"  :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are!

Like I said on IG. Shooting !!! Confidence in your equipment and lots of practice makes it a very doable shot !! I have done it !!
