Shopping for a new bow

I have a bear Mauler that has been a great bow.  I've killed a couple elk with it and feel really comfortable shooting it.  Unfortunately it's only a 60 lb bow and after having it for 6 years 55 is the max draw weight.  I've had to adjust the pins as the string has crept. Should I consider just getting a new string?  Or a new bow?  Just looking for thoughts and opinions, things to consider.  Thanks!

Strings should bring you back up. I just restrung my bow after 3 years and went from 64 back up to 70.

Another vote for a new string.

I replace mine every two years personally.

Yes you should deff replace the string if you keep it. If the poundage is down it is also probably of out tune. You can measure your axle to axle to check.

Cables. If your string stretches your draw will lengthen and poundage will go up. Cables stretch and draw decreases and poundage drops. Have all replace and bow tuned by a qualified shop.
